Where are we heading?
The other day I was at a book launch in the Lower East Side, in a venue that looked part mad scientist’s lab, part theatre. The hosts were two friends: a computer hacker and a neuroscientist.
A doctor and her mother sat beside me. She shared that she’d first met the illustrious hacker in Miami three years ago before ChatGPT was released, and that he’d done her friends a solid by pointing them to Nvidia. This time, she brought her mother with her.
That conversation was a reminder of two things: 1) ChatGPT showed up in my world only three years ago, and 2) There are builders, investors and hackers who have a front-row seat to advances in deep tech and how these apply to industries.
This database gathers the predictions made by heads of businesses, engineers, computer hackers and futurists on AI and Deep tech all in place.
